Well I was up on the early shift but only to try to get the grandkids back to sleep for a little longer. This is the seventh day of having 7,5, and 2 year old and this will be the eighth night. Harder work than wrenching on tractors or cutting up trees all day. Watched more kids movies and tractor pull videos than I can count. Popcorn and chex mix was about the extent of our New Years treats with egg nog (straight). They are fun too but we're getting into a another time in our life so don't keep up with them like we used to. Sure did gobble up those treats from Ia Gary tho. He's a big hit out our way plus he gets a new tractor soon to boot. Life is good huh. Thanks Migraine

Who made it to new years? Didnt even wathc the ball drop, tried watching that dick clark rocken new years thing but wasnt worth the electric to watch. Turned in, just another day. A lot of people ended up in jail, they did roadside checks last night and heard over 200 people state wide got dui's last night. What a way to start the new year, your head in the toilet, or in jail

Yeah,

It's quiet outside too. The only sounds I can hear out there are those darned electric fences makin' their usual ruckus. :>)

I've had my head stuck under the hood of your tractor this morning. Looks like there isn't much holding that precleaner on. Just four little stove bolts.

Its gonna take a new hose over to the oval front air intake above the radiator tho. :>(

Allan I figured that hose was gone.

Can't remember whats all under there.

Is the air scoop still there or what does that hose hook to?

Yeah,

You can just see the oval air inlet peeking over the top of the radiator in the picture.

It will take that funny shaped hose from a salvage yard and a great big hose clamp. I think they are all the same from the 656 up, aren't they?

You want me to yank 'er off of there and pop rivet a cover over the hole in the hood center section? Or, do you want to handle all that on your end?

Might be easier to do when you have the hood off for painting anyway?

You can get it off of there but I can take care of the hole.

I may weld in a piece and grind it down.

The muffler and cleaner may have to come off for transport anyway.

We can just put some 100 MPH tape over the inlet after its on the truck.

Thanks Gary
