does anyone know about how much a 2 row corn head would weigh?and also a 12 foot grain head?

If you had a model number those hotline blue cover books will give you a weight.

An old 2 row corn head can easily weigh 1600- 2000 lbs.A 210 JD weighs 1716 lbs.A 235 JD weighs 1942 lbs.

A 12 ft grain head could weigh 1000-1200 lbs or more.

If its an older jd or IHC head it will probably be heavier.

Quick answer, without going to the shop and books, is this: Black Gleaner 630 is about 3600 lbs., 438 is about 25-2600, so the 2row about 1500. Weights vary with brand. First Gleaner had a 238 head, fit nicely in a half-ton pickup.
