Thermometer reads about 30, bright sunshine. Needed to move one non-running H out of the shop to make room for this afternoons project. Took about 45 minutes to accomplish that task, and now I am chilled to the bone. That North wind must be blowing off an iceberg.

Gents,

My Christmas is almost over. Third one away from family since 9-11. Thanks for keeping this original Mississippi redneck up to speed on the latest goings on in rural America. Merry Christmas from the deserts of western Iraq. God bless and stay warm.

Don't know if you noticed or not but since 9-11 and you folks went on the job there has not been a single attack on this country. You are doing a magnificent job. Total success.

Even though there are those of use who have 'been there done that' I don't think many of us believe that what we did compares with what you are doing.

There is a core in this country that truly understands and appreciates what you do.

Merry Christmas and the best of New Years. Stay safe. Thank you!!!!! !!

Nice and sunny here today also hoping it gets above freezing to melt off more again. Had just enough snow last night to make it all white again. Sure felt good at cotton gin burr fire when snow flew last night as it was actually getting warmer out.

Oh Yeah,

I've been in twice now to warm up. Darned fingers are now taking on the look of those frozen bolts with the frost coming out of 'em and think I'll have to try putting on 3 pairs of socks.

It just don't get any better than this!

By the way, do you guys think red paint will dry at 10 degrees, or should I wait til it warms up to freezing? :>)

Allan

Build a fire in the pot Allen and you can paint in zero weather if you have a smokin gun.

I've done some painting in cool weather, but I think 10 degrees might be sort of pushing the limits a bit.
