Those were some nice shots, I can't believe you could get a fully loaded rig out in the middle of the field this time of year. Around here, depending on the rain situation, you might get away with it, or you might sink up to the axles and even a D8 cat might not be able to get you out, they sink too. Some fields yes, others have to travel to the edge to unload. I've seen some farms using old military trucks set up for grain out in fields. Last fall, the farmer who plants the 7 acre field here, sunk the combine in a wet spot, I would not have even ventured near it with my D7, a real sink hole, we got one of his JD's with front axle drive on a hard spot and gently pulled him out. First pass around too.

I am surprised no one commented on the concrete masonry units ( block ) on their sides, that hold up that blower, probably been there for years, and there's enough of them to displace the load without crushing, but generally not a good practice to use C.M.U. like that, the regular strength ones crumble easily, as I'm sure is already known, the block police are abundant here LOL !

Nice seeing that grain flowing though, captured the moment.

Could not read the license plate, but wondered where these photos were taken.

We are located in the central part of Wisconsin. The field that the pictures were taken in is a 1/2 mile long. So we park the trucks in the middle of the field, and we still can't even make it across halfway and the combine is full! Not a problem getting the trucks out of the field. Most of the fields are sand and thats why we have irrigation. The one picture was taken on top of the the pivot point of a 6 tower pivot.

Thanks guys for all the replies. The dunp trailer is 24 feet long and will hold 800 bushels of corn. The dump trailer is on a 1969 Diamond Reo C116 with a screamin detroit. It is a great rig foe out in the fields. Jaybird long time no talk, have to catch up sometime soon.
