I have done work for several companies owned by magna. i believe the other word is cosma. Very demanding and look out for themselves, i have found that to be true in just about the whole automotive industry

Magna International is a huge auto maker supplier. Polititian, I'll use this term loosely, Belinda Stronach used to be CEO of daddy's company. I think she figured she'd buy her way into politics. She did contribute to former hockey goon Tie Domi's divorce after her several affairs and on going relationship with him. Hope this helps. Dave

Magna is one of the largest automotive suppliers in the world. They have a global presence and are probably capable of being an OEM if that's what they wanted to do.

Lots of good information on their web site.

Can't say I've heard of Cosmos.

Magna is a VERY large parts supplier for the auto industry owned by the Stronak (sp?)family. They also own several horse race tracks in the U.S. They are a non-union business.

From what I've seen on the news, Magna is to the auto industry, what Wall Mart is to retail only quieter, they also want to assemble cars for one of the big 3. If they do, that will eventually break the union.
Don't think it can't be done, when there are billion$ at stake anything can be done.
Slowly at first, just like how slowly the taxman has added and increased taxes, licenses, and permits (for just about everything). Almost forgot fines and a 25% tax on the fine, for the victims of crime that can take the victims up to 10 years to collect.
