I can sympathize with you .When certain someones visit they can not understand why a Grown Man of near 70 years has about 80 Tractors on display.I must explain that due to Zoning my tractors all by "Ertl". I surely wish I had one of the real things but I do have my memories and when certain Visitors say ,"Little old to be Playing with Toys" I just gaze at my AC WD45 Replica with fond Memories and ignore their remarks and on the other hand when a visitor says"WOW" I am filled with as much Pride as if they are the real thing.Merry Christmas to all-"Jesus is King" John

i have 10 in the barn right now, always on the lookout for some poor neglected homeless tractor that is in dire need of a family enviornment. next time he comes out, hand him a scythe and cut him loose on 10 acres of hay that needs to be cut, or hand him a hoe and have him walk 80 acres of beans in a day choppin out weeds. then have him shovel manure and spread it with a wheel barrow, all the while you can sit on the tractor, sippin a cold one, sayin "yup lotsa folks cant figger out why ya need tractors!!!!! !!!!!

Jim
I only have one and my wife thinks I am a bit nuts for having it. You ought to be around when I start talking about buying another one.

I compare them to her doll collection but she doesn't see the resemblance.

I told her if moved to Kansas I could just use yours then. She is noy sold on the cold winters, humidity, chigger, ticks, skeeters, Oh it coming back to me now, I remeber why I like Texas so much. Guess I will stick with my one JD B for now. Hope you all have Merry Christmas.

I BET IF YOU WENT TO HIS HOUSE YOU WOULD FIND SOME DUMB STUFF. AND MOST OF IT WILL BE OLD . HE MAY HIDE IT IN A SHOE BOX UNDER THE BED OR IN THE BACK CLOSET , BUT ITS THEIR. OR MAYBE YOU ARE DOING WHAT HE HAS ALWAYS WONTED TO DO, BUT HIS WIFE WOULD NOT LET HIM. " STAY STRONG "

Idle hands are the devil's workshop, ya know...

My wife is well aware that a few extra $$ going towards tractors and cars is WAY better than boozing and chasing skirts.

He doesn't understand that a man who collects tractors can't afford (money or time) to collect women.

No, No Allan, You have that all wrong. You always have one less than you need.
I have 15 on my little 28 acres and there is still room in the barn to park the pickup and airplane... Gene

Take him to the barn and show him your, tractors. Fire one up and get him interested, even let him drive one. Don't hide them. My wife doesn't have any idea how many tractors I have, and doesn't care, as long as I make money with them. Stan
