Sounds like the dryland crops are getting a drink of snow in a big way out there. Gonna have a "white Christmas" after all!

Don't know what its doing up towards Allan's way, but here a little SE of Denver its blowing up a storm. Roads are a mess, plows can't keep up, plus a bunch of freeways are closed. Left work at noon, heard on the radio at that time that Denver proper had 7" of snow, and so far it hasn't shown any sign of letting up. Forecast is for as much as two feet out this way.

Kieth, I'm a little SE of Denver too. In Franktown. We have a foot allready at 3:00. My wife just made it home and she was crying because she said you can't see because of the whiteout. This is a bad one and they say it will go like this for 30 hours.

Stumpalump, we'll have to get together one of these days. I'm off of Singing Hills just over the Elbert County line. We've got drifts around the house that look like they're about 3 ft deep. I left work in Aurora at noon & took me about an hour & a half to get home, even with four wheel drive. Just watching the news, doesn't look like its going to let up until tomorrow sometime.

We're fine as long as the power stays on, otherwise I'll have to make a trek out to the shop & drag the generator a couple hundred feet through the snow...
