Ahh power is back for time being but for how long. Yeah get ready Allan NE and Bob Wyo. Sorry but looks like we are sending nasty stuff your way this time. Had 2 days of freezing rain and thunder sleet here and power out twice already. Was just lucky the heavy wet snow quit long enough in middle of night for them to get it back. 3" so far on top of ice. That low is still out west of us in NM and suppose to wrap around for more snow and maybe wind later. Don't really need the wind with ice and snow on everything yet. Oh well.... going to be wet when it melts.

No wind here yet, but its snowing hard. Bad thing is the roads haven"t been cleared from the last 4" we got. I don"t plan on going anywhere but on the farm, and that could get interesting. They"re calling for 9-14" here in my part of SE Wyoming.

Wond 30 mph from the north--snowing. Forcast for any where from 6 inches to 26 inches, depending on how excited the newsman is. A little late to warn people, but please don't get caught out in this one. I can't believe that there are people that drive in tenis shoes and shorts. An old blanker or old sleeping bag in your car--PLEASE! I can name you people that have spent days out in a car in a storm. Any chanch Ed Mustang from Holyoke is still a live? Kennyp in NE Colorado

It just arrived here within the past 5 minutes. Came in horizontially too. :>(

Critters all fed up for the duration.

Was gonna work on Gary's tractor today, but it needs to be roaded in here to the hills from 15 miles out.

However, I just might do that on a different day. :>)

Allan:
How long is it supposed to last? I'm on my way to NW Kansas via Torrington and Scottsbluff, but can stay in Billings for a day or two if necessary. Just need an idea so I can call my mother and tell her when to expect me. I'll be checking this thread all afternoon for a reply.

I wish I'd known yesterday morning; I'd have stayed in Great Falls until tomorrow. I have to drop off my trailer in Torrington as I have a load for Bill Wilson who moved there earlir this year.
At least I have a place to wait where I'm not paying motel rent.

Tom staying in Billings a while might be a good choice as I 80 east to Sidney is now closed. I 70 Denver east is closed. I-25 slick with blowing snow and getting worse by the hour.

Yep,

This back-door joker looks mean. Going out to feed 'em up now 'cause if it comes in like they say it will, I'm gonna be snowbound for 2 or 3 days. :>(

So far so good here, just some wind out of the N-NW, but they say it's coming and by Allans picture it sure not good. Funny part was that all yesterday afternoon the wheather man had us in a blizzard warning and not a cloud in the sky.LOL Think we should of headed for Boise this morning instead of Fri. Just looked at the web cam for the hill and it looks good, only a little blowing snow so far. Glad your lights are back on Glen.

Keep it there Allan.....

There is only one part of North Dakota with snow right now and I'm in it, but there sure isn't much. Not missing it much either.
