YTMagers tend to be a bit more open to OT subjects on this "All The Others" forum. Getting an answer may mean addressing it on a particular brand's "sign" above. Or just wading through some polite conversation. JimN

Well, what I asked about a few days ago was what was the best way to put new seals in the bearing carrier of a 1965 case 530 backhoe.Put the seals in the carrier first or try to tap the seals in after the fact.??? You see my post just got lost in all the stuff ya'll been chatting about. The weather, dogs ,border crossing, looking out the back window. You know lots about other things other than tractors, and tractors is what started this site. But that's ok.I'm just hoping somebody might see my post before it's gets lost in all the every day stuff.

Go to the Case forum they'll help you. It's just that we didn't know the answer not many of us have backhoes, wish I did though.

Yup, know a little about Massey's, a little about Fords, nothing bout wimmens, a little about Nissan trucks, but no Case.

I read your post, but it's pretty specific. This is a good forum for general knowledge. Here you have a mixed bag of young 'uns, old farts, Massey fellers, JD guys, A-C gents, IH men, Ford fanatics, and likely a few Case cowboys hanging out. If I forgot anyone, don't shoot me.

This is a good forum for asking whether to replace your ammeter with a voltmeter, but not how to wire it to a pre-12v M-H 44. That question belongs over on the Massey board. And believe me some one over there will know the answer. I failed to look on the Case forum to see if it was posted there, but I think that would have been the place for it.

Keep in mind, advise may be wrong. You do get what you pay for...

Let's go Mountaineers,

Aaron
