After 11 days, paypal found my transaction record. So I did have a password. Previously, I was told I didn't have one, but I couldn't create one because I already had one. Their system is a joke.

The PayPal system has been good to me. There are scams which try to get the user to re enter their info, then use it. I reported it and the real PayPal managers got on it (and reassured me of the sanctity of my account) within 2 hours. Nothing is 100% safe, and Nothing is easy to come by. I still believe. JimN

Paypal is nothing but a legal way for theives to scam and rip off sellers. Because they nor Ebay will support you if you get ripped off, you are one your own.

If they say you don't have a pass word, then it's easy enough to install a new one, and better for you to change it once in a while, (You can always create a New Pass Word,) some folks are a joke in themselves....

No I didn't forget my password. I was on the checkout screen and it froze up. I have used it before, and it said I didn't have a password. But when I tried to create a new one, it refused because I already had one. 4 days later, Paypal send me an email that I don't have a pasword. A week later, I get another email that, oh yeah, I do have a password, but they have had some unspecified "system problems", and they are sorry for the inconvenince. For what I percieve as very little utility, it is a PIA. IMHO.
