Gary I'am not going to get you any pictures of rops. The two that i know of (WAS NOT IH BRAND)
Home made.They did share this.
They said if not rubber mounted at axle housing that they carry alot of noise.howling through the metal.??Can't say myself.

I read this forem daily but don't post too often, maybe that's why I didn't get your e-mail. I would still love to have you over and measure the ROPS but more to visit. I have watched you and Allen from Neb for some time and would love to meet you both, however you are much closer.I hope they haven't got you scared you out yet from building your own. No tools are the rops supposed to be mounted on rubber?

I don't know about IH tractors but the Ag teacher that I shared a shop with had the kids repaint a 4020. I helped take off the canopy and roll bar. It was mounted directly to the axle.

The only ones i have ever notice. Thats how they were.

Some ole tractors just have noises in them??.

TO be honest with you i never was around any rops?
It was IFFY to me?
They may be something there I don't know exactly how that would be aranged.
unless you put a mounting on axle housing then mount to that.I'd be scared to say?

??? you know it could have been the builder on home made???

I guess what i was meaning to say. they had noise coming from the steel to steel cantact.
