Hi Gang;
My Christmas present from me to me arrived to-day. Its model made by Country Artists who specialise in highly detailed resin cast animals & tractors in country scenes.
This is a JD 1020 (Ive got a 920) with Twose transport box. The actual tractor model measures 7.5 long x 3.5 wide x 4.5 high inches. The overall diarama is 14 x 8 inches.
Highly detailed & hand painted, limited edition model. VERY delicate - do not drop !!!
Cheers David

Hi Gary;
Bought it off ebay !!!
Country Artists & Border Fine Arts make large numbers of these resin cast models of birds, animals (wild life & farm animals) and tractors.
They do normal unlimited runs & limited edition pieces (ie 350 pieces). The limited ones sell for more and are more collectable.
The tractor models are representative of makes & models - this is the only JD so far. They did an IH Farmall M with trailed plough; and a IH B250 with potato spinner a few years ago. They dont make custom or one off pieces.
Their biggest sellers are farm horses, cattle, sheep etc. always in diarama with other animals
like the sheep & collie dog with this JD 1020.
Cheers David

A nicely done diorama. We had a 1020 gas on the farm we bought new. Not a bad little tractor. We used it a lot for haying in the summer and manure duty in the winter so we didn't have to plug in the diesels. The 2 cylinders had been retired from duty by this time.

Great looking piece.

Do they do custom ones or just their selects that they design.

I love the border collie, very life like if you have ever seen a border collie.

David, That"s a great present to yourself. I like the weathered look of the tractor as well. Very nice!
