ok i no this is off topic but if u have seen the movie walk the line you will remember when johnny cash buys a house on a lake near june carter and when his father comes for thanksgiving he gets on johnny for taking the pills and leavin that oliver stuck and not gettin it out and he walks off and he keeps stallin it and eventually the brakes give out and he runs backwards into the lake. ok the question is when i saw that tractor i immedeatly thought it was an oliver super 88 i was just wondering if i was right

yah i noticed it didnt sound right and it was missing the air intake behind the exsaust but it is still a good movie

Also from what I was told they removed the engine from the tractor before the did any filming of it. Had to do with something about they didn't know how to operate it so with out the engine it would be safer or something

No, it isn't Joaquin Phoenix as the Man in Black or Reese Witherspoon, who plays June Carter.


Appearing at the Antique Power Association of the Ozarks Show and Tractor Pull Friday and Saturday is a 1954 Oliver Row Crop 77 tractor owned by Richard Walker of Mountain Home. In fact, Walker, president of the club, also owns the tractor's stunt double, which he bought and refurbished for the film, scheduled for release next year.
