Don't I see spark plugs? That pretty much chops the price 1/2 or more right there I think or would for me. Been seeing diesel ones with loaders going for up to $5500 and you just figure less without loader and less for a gasser or LP. A auction huh? Find out the real owner and real story and only believe half or less of what auctioneer tells you.

Glen,I believe those are the studs and nuts holding the little "wings" that clamp the manifolds on. The air intake has no carb either. I don't think they ever made a 930 gas to my knowlege.

Nice looking old beast. Looks just like the one I had except for the stylish muffler and the newer style seat. Mine had the same style foot pedals and it was a 68. Good old tractor. Bought it in Il. for $1000 with a cracked head, overhauled it and, used it for 10 years. I then sold it for $4500. I don't need it anymore but, I still miss it.

Billy,

This is one of those very rare types indeed as it has the optional tilt exhaust system. :>)

You'd better be for grabbin' that one. Kind of a sweet ol' sister, ain't it?

Allan

I custom formed one of those exhaust systems on a little John Deere one time. We didn't dig deep enough into the floor of the barn for it to fit beneath the floor joist for the loft. I was digging and my buddy was driving.

I didn't dig deep enough.

Is it the 930 or the 1030 that have a lot of head problems? My guess is $4,000-4500.

Ya now days with the price of gas/fiesel I haven't sold a tractor in more then 2 years. I guess people don't want to drive far to get a tractor. Now if I had tractors with loaders I could sell one in this area since every one seems to want loader tractors

I don't mean to sound mean, but if You(anybody)doesn't have what I want to buy then the Fuel Prices don't matter.I and others I know have and will drive 1 to 2000 Miles to get what we want.I only buy for my self(not Resale)so that may make a diff..The longest was 4000++miles with a 45 Ft. trailer to pick up 2 or 3 tractors(twice).I have also went 1500 and come home Empty too.

Most of the time i can't really afford the tractor, now add fuel, eats, time and i really can't afford it.

I'm not really looking to buy a tractor now. It just seems like most of the folks on this board are a long ways from me. It Would be nice to go see some of the items that are for sale sometime. But i'm not making a 4000 mile trip.

Well then your probably not more then 200-300 miles from me. Joplin MO. is about 150 miles from where I am. Shoot one of my tractors that isn't for sale unless you have $100,000 on hand came from the Senaca area of OK. Look at my web site and you will see where I am. If you know where the lake of the ozarks is in Missouri then you know about where I am

I've been all over your site and i do not see any mention of where you are located. except you were at a parade of power tractor show.I have no idea where it was.

anyway, i do not have any equipment to haul a tractor that will not fit on a 16'utility trailer. If you knew how i hate to drive, then 200-300 miles might as well be 2000-3000.

I've got to buy a round baler before i get anymore tractors. Hay season is going to be here before i'm ready.Hate to think about hauling a few thousand squares by myself. Just got to get one of them round balers.

Yep been there done that with the square bales. But I do wish I had a good square baler since I really need to have both types of bales. And yes you couldn't hual a 930 on a 16 foot trailor unless it had tandem wheels on it. This things comes in at around 8500LBS and with the tires on it, it has almost a 4 foot, foot print. The rear tires are 23.3X26s or something like that. As far as the site I guess you missed a page or to since on one pages theres a mag that explains how to get right to my front door
