Hi!
Hope all is well with y'all!
Did anyone go out one cold morning and find that the water in their rear tires was frozen solid?
If so, What was the end result?
It got down to 9 F a few days ago and it's supposed to go up to 50 F today. So I'll probably find out myself soon enough.
I know! I know! I should'ah bought antifreeze for the tires but cold weather got here before funds (and time)did.
Lets see,,,,, central WV, lower altitude and 9 F, Yep, global warming at work :)
Keep warm!

have a set of tires i use for pulling that have plane water in for like 10 years. they are like a rock today [live in wi.]i don't use them only for pulling so they just sit till spring when i put them back on. i have a set i run in winter with CC in them but they weight 270 lbs more then the CC filled and that puts me over the wt. class so i use just water

Frozen tire ballast is harmless IF the tractor is not moved until it is COMPLETELY thawed. Ice in the tube will slice the tube like a razor.

My tires have calcium but my water bottle in the cab has been frozen for nearly a month now.
