I`m thinking about getting a feed bin like the ones ya see at the end of confinment buildings . It`s 6 ft. across , has 2 rings about 3 ft. tall and a cone on the bottom . About how many pound of ground feed will it hold ?

Nominally that would be a 2 ton bulk bin. It may hold a little more, but that is the nominal capacity.

We have a 2 ring bin, and it holds 80 bushel filled to the top.

Do the two rings equal 3' or 3'each ring?

I would guess about 1 to 1 1/2 ton of feed per 3' ring.

The two rings together would be about 5 1/2 6 ft tall .

I would think it would hold all of 5000 lbs on ground corn and maybe over 6000lbs.
