Was looking for a good place to have my injectors rebuilt and was wondring if anyone had a favourite shop that did good work at a reasonable price.
Thanks
Ken

Was hoping to find a shop I could ship them to that had good prices, was quote 25 by shop in tx but now they say 75 to 90 a year later. Or find a kubota dealer that will sell below list.
Bobcat tells me 85 for new ones

Thank you. I could find it again, hope I never have too. They were supper nice to talk to, did a fine job in a hurry, (guy stayed up to mid night working on my pump when I told him I only had one tractor and had hay down.) and were very resonable priced. Did not know that I was in spook town. It is just one right turn past the bridge from my house. Figured I was on a main road. Thanks again for the name. Just put the phone number on my cell phone.

Can You rebuild injectors or do you have to buy new?

Anytime I had one go bad we put in new.

Yes we have rebuilt the pump but not the injectors.

Buy rebuilt, not new injectors. The factory rebuilds throw everything away but the housing and if they run short of rebuildable housings, they just substitute totally new injectors to meet the demand for rebuilds. My experience has been that it is as expensive to have the local diesel injection shop rebuild injectors, as it is to buy OEM rebuilds. The shop does good work and they can make custom injectors (e.g. install larger orifice tips), but it is not worth the fuss if you just want the plain vanilla version.

Like old said location means alot. Buddy of mine who runs coal trucks told me about a place in Eldorado Il that was good. They rebuilt the injector pump on my 6700 for $200 less than anywhere else I called. They done a bang up job, and quick. Can not think of the name of the joint to save my life but if you are heading east on the main drag they are on the right in a little concrete block shop. As old said knowing some body who trucks helps out.

Hope this helps.

Dave

A lot depnds on where you are. I have found the best way to find a good shop in your area is to check with the truck drivers in your area and or truck stops
