I hear you guys in northern IL have snow.. how much and when did it start? it just started snowing here, but too warm to stick.. lets hope it stays that way.. woke up this AM and found half of our barn, and 99% of the barn yard under a few inches of water.. goats & steers are hating it, ducks and geese are in heaven...
later guys.. Tim Shultz

Well it started snowing for about 20 minutes back in 1989, havent seen any in my home town since then. Maybe cause I live in Florida. Yall may not understand it, but I really envy you getting to see snow!

It just started here about 11:30 AM in north central IN. I have been watching the DTN all morning and it looks like the most of it will miss us and move north through MI. Just fine stuff not heavy. Wind gust are high.

They just took it out of the forecast for Lafayette. Just calling for a light dusting if that.

It started sometime after 10 last night. Looks like it's stopped falling for right now (10:40 a.m.) but the wind is blowing it around and making drifts. Boy if it freezes on you, you're gonna have a heck of a time with all that ice underneath the snow.

yep, thats waht I am afraid of.. that much ice makes it hard to plow.. tires can't get much of a grip.. so I am hoping the cold stay away for a bit long. maybe some of this will soak in.. but i don't think so.. :(

Oh, and my mom says it was snowing at 1 a.m., to give you a time frame.
