Here in the Northern Rockies it was a balmy 20F today but the previous two days saw us in the single digits during the day and near zero at night. We had about a foot of snow but the wind came up this morning for a couple of hours and blew big patches of the ground open. Got some seat time in the TO-30 plowin' out some small drifts in the drive way.

Cold spell here in central Arizona below the Mogollon Rim. 30' at 6 am. 58' at 3pm.Very high wind with lots of blowing dust from the Hassayampa River Bed [dry 364 days a year]yesterday causing breathing problems for a lot of older folks,me incluided.Water froze last night and more of the same tonight.Got everything covered but can only hope my Tomatoes survive. The Lantanna Flowering Shrub got bit real good along with the Bouganvilla. John

Not too bad here in far Eastern Washington. About 3 inches of new powder snow, but with only a little wind today. And I think the temp has got clear up to about 20, maybe even 25.

This is a huge improvement from the wind and zero temps we had over the last couple of days. But is sure isn't Spring yet!

It actually warmed up a bit today. -13 cel.[55,4 F.] Much better than the last couple of days. It was -40 with the windchill. -40 C and -40 F are the same. I hope it stays nicer all winter, but I doubt it will. Dave

I hit the wrong button. It was 8.6 degrees F not 55.4. That's cold enough. Dave

Yup here we go again! I live in southern NJ and it was 64 today and nice and sunny. It is going to rain tonigh through tomorrow and drop to the 40s. What always gets me is when the first snow flake falls all of the idiots run out and buy all of the bread and milk they can get hold off!!
I buy a gallon when there is about 1/4 of a jug left. I very seldom run out. Guess growin up on a dairy farm teaches ya to think ahead a little. Jeffcat

I had to sit down south of Decaterville for about 30 minutes last night while they finished cleaning up a crash. The boss called me about three this afternoon and said stay home, not sending any trucks out. The bad part of this is, one rt. meets a truck from Little Rock at Harrson,AR and tomorrow is pay day. The checks come from Little Rock on those trucks, guess I will have to hang around Sat. morning until they unload the trucks. 8 or 9 AM.

Yesterday the thermometer dropped here in SE KS so fast it left skid marks. We didn't get the 1/2 to 1 inch of freezing rain like they were calling for, thank goodness. Just enough to make getting into your vehicle a hassle. Snowing and blowing hard now. Supposed to get 12-18 inches by morning. 18 degrees now and falling fast. I'm ready for it, though. Got the firewood hauled in, the Jeep P/U in the garage, the tractor with the blade in the shop and work on speed dial so I can call in tomorrow!

74 outside now with partly cloudy skies, no wind. Near Myrtle Beach. Been doing some brush cleanup and actually broke a sweat with a short sleeve shirt on. Our cold weather will be here soon enough.

Hey Richard,I am east of ya some and the temp is dropping fast.I got the ole Yamaha ready fer the slick stuff, doughnut time!Got the Super 88 tore down in the shop getting ready for paint, just got to get some red for the wheels,ha ha ha.New Holland red looks close to the color. My 88 was light green underneath the pto and behind all the panels.I am trying to decide whether to paint it this color or the dark green. This is a good excuse to build a fire in the wood stove and get to work.

What year is that S88?? Look at my web page I have one I painted last year, its painted as it would have been painted when it rolled off the show room floor, in 1955. So you shouldn't even need any red for it if your going to paint it as it was when new

Been colder and rainy here all day in the thumb of Michigan. Supposed to snow here starting this evening. May miss me. I am within 15 mi of Saginaw Bay and the water may keep it warm enough to keep it rain.

The weather"s been great here in Northern New Jersey . . . . been in the 60"s all week . . . actually hit 70 today! Came in about 9 PM and it was still 63! Not typical for here.

They"re saying the cold front will hit here late tomorrow and drop it to the 40"s. But nothing like the rough weather you guy"s are getting in the Midwest. Be careful.
