I have always had feeling for the people that has to deal with that type winters.
Back in 1982 Chritmas eve night the temp was -30 the wind chill was somewhere around -60.
We had a disaster in a coal fired power plant i work in.It was not cute.but we was force to go on. we run any machine that would go. They were running when this hit.sometimes they did not run long.We salvaged soom. it was terrible.it was declared an emergency.no one leaves the plant.sleep in lunch room. rest room. office we don't care.Company lost millions in 2-3 days.I honestly think we scraped about ever thing we had.I WILL not share the memory.

It's currently 65 degrees here in Ga. We have had 4 days in the 65 - 73 degree days in a row. Looks like I'm gonna have to cut the gras in the yard if this keeps up.

One comment, why are you intermittantly yelling? Caps is yelling, makes it hard to read your posts...

It's a nice, warm 14 out right now (about 1:00 PM) Forecast calls for 7 tonight, but I'm betting it's down below zero, fresh snow cover and supposed to clear, it won't be a warm night...

No Tools, I'm afraid you'll have to take typing again. There's just no way you have passed and your spelling is terrible. Sorry.

Might not hurt if no tools would tell us where he really is from? I'm pretty sure it is not Ohio.

Say what you will, but I rather enjoy his posts. While Calculus, Physics, Organic and Biochemistry are fine courses, they still pale in comparison to a man who can look at the sky and tell if it"s time to plant the potatoes. My college professors could have learned a few things from the old folks back home.

I have personally watched an engine block be destroyed by a learned man, while a fellow that had never left the holler set 4 sleeves using a homemade lightbulb setup and a freezer.

And my internet ain"t gonna work without the power he provides with his "Yeller Cats".

Cheers, Aaron
