Well I'm still alive after have it done. They did remove a couple polups and I'll not know what they are like for 2 weeks. Not some thing I would want to do again soon but still not all that bad.

Glad it went well, had it done myself a month ago and took a friend (my boss) in several weeks back. Ashamed now to say that I had my boss/friend convinced that they shave your a** from the small of your back to mid-thigh before-hand. Best part of that whole deal is chowing down after a day and a half fast. If you're ever in Des Moines I highly reccomend the Waveland Cafe's Lumberman special.

Have em run every couple years. Cancer survivor 2 times now.Lymphoma. If you want something that is a lot harder to drink than the sodium laced flush juice, try some of the pinapple tasting saniflush they give you for a CT scan.If you even need one, tell em you want the Wylers lemonade like stuff.TWO BIG glasses full. Drink it right down ,please. Its not too bad if you can hold your pee.

The newer PET scans are a piece of cake and more and more docs are ordering them these days.Similar to a CT scan machine. They inject some radioactive sugar(not the normal sugar as we know it) in your vein. The tumors love the sugar and latch on to it.The radiation from the sugar lights on on film and locates the tumor if present.First trip to the John and ya quit glowing in the dark. lol.Its gone.I go to sleep during those tubal trips.lol, bob GOLDEN YEARS, MY BUTT! Cancer, heart failure, Diabetes. Just glad I don't have to get a teat smash test. Why am I not dead? Only one reason.Have work to do for the Creator even yet. Are YOU saved?

Do not wish to one-up you guys or maybe I do, anyways I had to clean out the system with the flush four times in a one year period. Drinking it when it was real cold made it more bearable but not the best drink I have had. They removed some non-cancerous polyps and later removed a few inches of colon. The stuff that would have killed us 200 years ago we can now talk about in the past tense, I think that’s progress. Do I hold the flush-lapsed time record on this forum?

I have had two over the years, polyups removed, but not cancerous. They get easier each time. The stuff you drink didn't seem as bad the last time, friend at work said the same thing after his recent one. I guess they have come up with a better formular. Due for my third, making appointment soon. If I remember I will post about preperation and how it compares to past. That is unless you guys have had enogh.

Wasn't the drinking of the chalk and running to the bathroom the worst part? Was for me when I had it two years ago. Never been so empty. Glad yours came out OK. Mine was clean.

I had the rear end scope done 4 years ago, I am due soon for another, I am fine. Colon cancer, the full deal resulting in death is a horrible way to die. A friends dad had 4 feet of his colon removed in March of 2004, the doctors told him he would live one year if he did Chemo, he died Feb. 2005.

Glad it went OK. My mom had a polup removed in her nose. It was nothing, just a bump. Not a big deal. You'll be fine. Dave

I was glad when I got mine done also. Just one more thing in life not to worry about. I wonder when the doctor going through med school decides he wants to look at a holes everyday. I guess I am glad there are doctors who make this decission. Stan

My grandmother just had almost all of her small intestine removed due to cancerous obstruction. Don't know what the prognosis is yet, they tend not to look really far ahead for 87 years olds with a half dozen serious health problems.
