Your pictures of tanks heaters are making me cold enough. Now the weather man says you left the southeast gate open and the cold is headed our way. Has been in the uper 60's and low 70's for a good while. Supose to get to the lower 20's later this week. Hey, I know, thats warm for you guys but sure will seem cold to us hear.

I'm sure glad I have running water on my place. Hope to not have to chop ice any this year.

Stay warm.

-30c this morning near Edmonton, Alberta!!! I forgot to plug my truck in last night but was surprised to find out she would start this morning. Had to cycle the glow plugs for a couple of minutes (its a 2000 F350 w/ the 7.3l) I thought the neighbours might call the fire dept with all the black smoke I was belching and the racket the engine was making.

But I was pleasantly surprised last weekend when my little B414 diesel fired up at -25c. I plugged in the circulating heater for an hour and lit the glow plugs for 1 minute and she fired right up!

It was cold up here alright. -40 with the windchill! That's the temperature when it doesn't matter if it's standard or metric. They're the same. Too damn cold. I'm glad I took a nice warm inside job. You sure don't want your vehicle to break down. People still drive like idiots though. Saw a few fender benders. Burrrr! Dave

Allan--don"t mind those guys, leave the gate open whenever you need to. We still have 15-20 cords of oak to burn thanks to the hurricanes. I think it"ll rot before we can burn it.

Yep, got the wood stacked and ready for it. First it's bone dry, and now we got water leaking out of everywhere!! Hope this means our drought is over for next summer. Keeping my fingers crossed.

I'm also going to blame Allen. You know,he really takes good care of his tractors and equipment, but just doesn't give a hoot about us down here and is forever leaving the door open. Maybe some day he'll learn that if he leaves the door shut the cold he has now will stay and not run out to be filled with even colder air. LOL God Bless. Bob Da. (La)

My first wife was always blaming me fer all kinds of things too.

Then, one day I just told her straight out that she needed to get rid of about 170 lbs of ugly fat..... .....

So, she did. She divorced me. :>(
