i got a nice button buck today i was just wondering if any of you guys new a good recipe for heart

Take egg, milk, and flour, batter it real heavy. Make a pan of home made biscuits. Take teh drippings and crumbs from the frying and make a big pan of gravy. Throw out the heart and enjoy biscuits and gravy.

Fry a pound or so of bacon in a frying pan. Slice the heart into pieces about 1/2" thick. Coat both sides in flour. Fry in bacon grease.

Well I can't speak for deer heart, but I used to take chicken hearts, fry 'em in a little butter, salt, and pepper.... Mmm. Pretty tough and chewy, but good eatin'.
