Well the wife broke that ankle in two places, and not simple ones, the tibia is broke off and twisted in there, the fibia (?) is broke and cracked across. Monday plates and screws go in. Bionic woman. Surgeon said she is going to be very sedintary for about 3 weeks. Told her flat out NO she cannot go to work. Man this for a woman that dont know slow down. Guess this is going to be a fun few weeks for me. Well, we nursed each other through broken bones before, and worse. Forty Two years with her so I think I can handle it. Have a good one guys. Bob

Bob --- I understand what your saying when you say to her (Slow Down) I told my wife the same thing, and she refused - until she broke her hip, then --- she got the message - when the wife won't listen to the husband, then God has to tell them, and then (maybe) they get the message...

Yeh, I keep telling her to retire but she loves her work and to be honest she is good at it and appreciated by those around her. I put a brackket on an office chair to hold her leg up and she is one foot pushing that thing all over the house. Hates the crutchs and I dont blame her. Strong women are both a blessing and worry. Wishing you and her all the best. I know its a gruelling time, just be patient with her. But dont let her over do it.

Its now been 5 weeks (tomorrow) since my accident and 3 since they put me back together. For the first time, yesterday I was able to move enough to realize that I might just be ok. Power of prayer pulled me through.

Thanks Hayman; I have missed a lot of time on here lately due to one thing and another, I didn't know about your accident. Prayers are with you. Was laid up tight for 7 months once, hard to get back on your feet, muscles dont care how bad you brain wants to go. Keep going, you'll make it. Bob
