I was going to wait till it got light to head out too, but I'm supposed to load a load of hay today and they've already given us a high wind warning. Think I better get out there and get started before that comes up. You all have a good day.
David

fog here is so thick you could cut it with a knife. Tried to build a fire but the wood is so wet it won't burn.

Little guys have settled right into their new surroundings and are busy eating me out of house and home. Sure is "calming" to have the critters around again tho. :>)

'Bout you? In the "ice breakin' mode" down there?

Allan

No ice yet. The girls are still running out. I started feeding yesterday and want to get them called back in so I can turn them in a field.

Allen I never did hear how the 966 turned out since you sent it to the dealer to check out the noise in the rear end.

Haven't looked in on 'er in a week to 10 days, but the last i knew it was strung all over the shop floor in town. Three bad bearings, ring gear and pinion and a reseal of the hitch piston.

It is in really good hands. These boys really know their stuff and have all those big, expensive tools to do it right.

It will really be nice to get it back nice and quiet like it was when it was new. It's a sweet old tractor and my main workhorse.

Dunno, just might have to find me a good cab for it also. I'm not a big fan of cabs, but I'm getting old too. :>(
