HHMMMM WELL MAYBE?
OK maybe Northerntool.com
THEY have got a good selection of valve to get some ideals.
THEY are showing 3 different flow control valves in the hydraulic section.
THEY are showing a inline flow control valve also they are show a selector valve--and a 4-port lock valve.
Also showing a priority flow divider valve.
HERE is a email address that is one of the boys. silver_2006_psd@yahoo.com

Oh heck,

I already have all the parts I need.

I was just unsure if I needed to run multiple ins and outs or if I could "daisy chain" the gizmos together.

Also, was kinda unsure about the regulators in the valves. Think I'm gonna gut one just to see how it is built. :>)

Thanks,

Allan

Allan,I used 2 valves like the one you have, connected them together with a close nipple, one was for two way cyl.,the other changed, per inst.,for one way cyl.on AC WD45 with FEL,work OK,HTH,Bob.

We previously gave Allan two REALLY good sources, with free tech help only a phone call away, Baum Hydraulics and Surplus Center. He didn't mention if he gave them a try, or not. Either could have set him up with the correct valve.

You can bet that anyone with Allan's engineering background has got this planned out to the final degree. He probably provides the advice to the valve companies himself.

I think Allan is trying to do it the best possible way that will work to his satisfaction without breaking the bank. Nothing wrong with asking for advice. Hydraulics can be complicated. Maybe someone has done what he is trying to do. I think with good new hoses he could have used his old valve in the cab without fear of any leak. He's Decided to use a different valve and it isn't a straight forward swap. The single acting section throws a whole new loop into the eqaution. I'm sure a shop could set it all up for him like it came from the factory. For just $2000 or more. Ever look at a hydraulics diagram for an excavator? It's like a maze of valves and hoses and all kinds of other components. I like seeing Allans progress in his pictures. Judging by the way his equipment looks, I'd say he likes to do things the right way. Dave

What I think Allan does is this. He gets it all figured out and starts putting things togather. Then it comes coffe time and so he heads for the coffee (computer) and runs it by the coffee shop to see what they might come up with. I think you would have to get up pretty early in the morning to get ahead of that old boy.
