Oh, Oh.

Haven't even fired 'er up yet and I can already tell that I have way to much fireplace fer the log cabin.

That thing just "looks" too darned hot!

Engineer, I'm not. Oh well, maybe I'll just "crack" the water inlet valve just a little? :>(

Alan-Isn't that a diesel?-hope you can get the water hot enough in real cold weather for it to do much good. Seems like I could never cover enough of the radiator on the old JD 4320's to do much good. Froze my a## of plowing snow and feeding cattle with the old Year-a-Round cabs. Worked fine when the tractor was worked hard like plowing.

Better get some Hawaiian shirts to wear in that thing. Paste some beach picture murals over the windows, put some sand on the floor and one of those fruity drinks with an umbrella in it and you got your own little winter escape machine!

I don't think you need alower half on that door with that heater. Maybe you don't even need the door.

Yeah,

Fry my eggs on the hydraulic handles and hope the front core will defrost the windshield without my having to turn on the fan. :>(

You could make a sheet metal deflector on a hinge to go on the side by the hyd. levers. When closed it would help defrost the windshield because it would force more air out the front. Open it up and it could direct air to the middle. You should leave the valve all the way open and just turn the heater off after it warms up. It is always better to have more heat than not enough. Looks like a good location. Dave

I don't know why you didn't ask me first Allan. If you take the battery cover off you get enough free heat from the engine to cook you out. (don't ask me how I know)

Yeah,

I remember those days when we used the comfort covers.

Spent 10 minutes getting a bundled up for the nasty weather, started the tractor and started yanking side curtains and parkas as hard as we could go.

Those dudes were hot, that's for sure. :>)

Allen,

Were did you get that heater? If I remember it was reasonable. I think one like that mounted low would work nice in my Year-A-Round cab that I'am going to put on my 756. Makes more sense than trying to force the water to the top of tha cab then forcing the heat back down.

Hey Scott,

I'll paste the link in the box. Think it was something like $129 plus the little installation kit.
