Can anyone point me in the right direction to get distillers grain out of the ethanol plants in the lower 2/3s of Indiana . Dont have to be the big guys , we use less than 75 ton a winter , keeps them old cows slick all winter . I`d like to be able to haul it myself . The trucking companys have it all sowed up from the beer plants and it`s hard to get it when we want it .

I can't help you with a source but do you mind if I ask how you are feeding yours? I'd like to start feeding some and with corn as high as it is it would save us alot of money but I'm still trying to decide the best way to feed it.

I feed it straight with know other feed . Had to pour alittle regular feed on top the first few times to get them eatting it . Been feeding it to my moma cows about 5 yrs. now . I put out round bales one day and feed the dis. grain the next while they clean the hay up . We poured a concret slab and made walls with the big 3x3x6 blocks . Scoop it up with the skid steer and dump it in the feeders , ya gota watch they will get to fat on ya if ya giv`em to much .
