plows are getting rare i was doig some work for a old lady whos husband ran a farm before he died and i was just doing it out of kindness when she started asking me about my antique tractors then she showed me into the barn and asked me tot ake them i offered to buy them resoable but she wouldnt let me i ended up with 6 plows and a johndeere 290 planter and plows ranging from (2 1x)(3 2X)(1 3x) all 14 inch but about cutting them up for scrap well you shold think about that twice either use em sell em or take them apart and use them for parts to fix others. maybe you can buy you a good john deere and put out a garden or goto a plow days belive me youll enjoy it.

I buy every plow I come across (if the price is right.) You never have enough parts. Plus I'm kind of an old plow freak and someone told me that you can't buy them at Wal-Mart anymore.

Yes, all of those are in demand. Someone was looking for a cultivator for a John Deere B just the other day either here or on the John Deere page.

Buy all that you can. Plows are getting hard to find here in Illinois. We were suppose to plow today but got rained out thurs. We have a friend that puts on a plow day every year. This will be the 9th . We had 47 antique tractors plowing last year. He doesn't want anything bigger than a 4 btm. He puts on a big meal at noon. Homemade beef & noodles, brats, salads, chili and desserts . We are hoping to plow Nov. 4. It's great to be able to use your tractor for something other than a parade or show. I have a 1935 "A" Deere. It is the one my Dad farmed with and I learned to drive. So that makes it special for me.

Off and on theres people that look for things like that. Either way they are things that shouldn't be scrapped out. I would prefer them to sit in a person lawn then to see them cut up and sold as scrap iron
