Have you thought about how you are going to mount the Farmhand's hydraulic controls inside the cab? If they go inside, then removing the Farmhand from the tractor will no longer be a 10 minute job. Maybe this doesn't matter. Just thought I would mention it in case that might be a problem. More than once I got part way through a project and hit a major show stopper. Lots of extra work and cuss words to solve if I'm too far into the project.

Hi John,

Yeah, that's gonna be the fun part. The last guy had it on a F-10 and I can kinda see how he did it on his.

I know where I'm going to run the hoses inside, but I'll have to wait til the cab is mounted to decide where to mount those control handles.

Just getting ready to put the wider floorboard on now.

You're surely not putting the VALVES inside the cab, are you?

I neighbor's hired man was sprayed with hot oil from a burst hose on just such a setup back when I was a kid, and subsequently died of his burns.

He couldn't get out of the cab quickly. What a HORRIBLE way to go!

Mount the valves OUTSIDE the cab, and use Morse cables, and a control head or joystick in the cab.

I wouldn't be caught DEAD with hydraulic controls and hoses IN the cab with me.

Just use hoses, but put a metal shield open at the bottom around them..if a hose bursts, the shield will trap the oil and let it drain out.
