Need Help Identifing Farmall size and model,

I purchased a farmall tractor today, and all of the sheet metal is missing, I am tring to figure out what size it is, it is a smaller tractor all that i can make out on the serial number plate is theere are 5 or 6 numbers, followed by the letter J. Can someone tell me what the J stands for?

The letter J following a serial number indicates that the tractor has a Rockford brand clutch as opposed to an Auburn brand.

On the tag you found, just above the serial number there should be a prefix. It will be FAA,FCM,FAB or something similar. Also, on the right side of engine, just above the distributer or mag, is a machined pad with a psimilar prefix and serial number. If you can read either or both of these, post them here and someone will be able to help. Good luck !

J stands for 1940 Is is an inline or an ofset engine? Two wheels together in front(C) or wide apart (A)? are the rear wheels fairly close together or very wide apart(B)? start from there and we can possibly help
