I bought a Farmall, StageII, Super H off of a young man a couple of years ago, and a pair of rear tire chains went with the tractor, they came in a 5 gallon bucket (filled the bucket) , I have no need for them. He had used them on this Super H, for skidding logs. Anyone got an idea what they are worth? Trying to clean out one of my garages, and this HEAVY bucket is in my way. I have never had them out of the bucket, I do have an H with 13.6 rubber, but have no need for the chains. And before anyone asks, located in Liberty Indiana, and no, I won`t ship.

Just a comment, I bought a set of 15.5x38 on Ebay I need to pick up before snow flies. Tired of my Ford 5000 diesel being somewhat helpless on ice under snow. Anyhow, gave $132.50 for the set. I agree, I think you might only have one chain, even the set of chains for the Ford 861 powermaster back in Nebraska would no way fit in one 5 gallon bucket.

New chains would be in the neighborhood of $200 + shipping from what I have found.

I don't know the size of that bucket, but I would be surprised if two chains of that size would fit in that bucket. Maybe I am wrong.

I wouldn't think you should take anything less than $75 for that set of chains, but it depends on how worn down they are.

Good luck!

I doubt if even one 13.6X38 tire chain would fit in a 5 gallon bucket, not all in one piece anyhow.
