Farm and Fleet's Toyland is opening tomorrow morning at 7 around here. Anybody plan on doing some shopping? It's sad though, the farm toy section gets smaller and smaller every year.

I will be avoideing farm and fleet all weekend. Sickening to see christmas stuff up this earl it gets very old. Local farm and fleet starts christmas music with toyland so everytime I am in there will hear that until december. As I ahve said every year as well christmas is losing its meaning, everyone thinks its about giving gifts. I once told my local farm and fleet to keep at least 1 check out "non toyland checkout no toys allowed" to give the working men(and women) a quick isle in and out. I told him most of them women are shopping and sometimes for the farm etc have to run in and get some grease zerks etc bolts etc and jsut dont have time to wait in huge lines. If that line is totally empty let one or 2 toy shoppers come over until other shoppers come. He looked at me like I was nuts and neverimplemented my idea but did say that contractors farmers avoided the store all weekend but apparently they get enough other money they dont care.

I'm not the Grinch - I like toys (especially farm toys) as much as kids do but when I walked into FF 2 weeks ago and saw the lawn and garden equipment moved and the walls up, I was grumpy! It gets earlier every year, I finally realized it wasn't my imagination. By the time I'm ready to do my shopping it will all be picked thru anyway. They could at least wait until Halloween is over.

My 2 cents,
ll

I tend to agree with you here. But, they put out Halloween stuff in August it seems, so maybe they all need to be adjusted a month or so.
