Looking at a clean JD 6620 turbo with 4x4, with new tires, I think 32 x 30 inch tires (I cant remember but it has something like that on the front). We have Indiana glacier clay gumbo muck in some fields and the 6600"s we have sometimes doesnt get thru it, then we wait for a freeze.

Question
anyone have experience with 6620 4x4 and how do they go thru muddy clay?

What is the Turbo model compared to straight 6620 or Titan II?

What size Motor?

They asking 15000 with 216 head?????

thanks in advance

THaden

I ran a 7720 4x4 cutting wheat in wet, western NY glacial clay several years ago. It worked quite well - never once became stuck. Even used it to rescue 3 axle grain trucks and a loaded stackcruiser that had gotten stuck in the field on several occasions.

The 7720 engine was a 466 turbo - at least that's what it looked like. It never lacked for power.

Only saw info in blue book for 6620 & 7720 and both had 466 rated at 145 hp. 8820 with 466 at 225 hp.
