Does anyone know the right torque to tighten the head bolts on my 1959 ford 601 4cyl. tractor if so let me know. also having firing problems . while I had the head off I noticed the piston closest to the steering wheel was not getting any fire to it. and in order to crank the tractor up I have to use a jumper wire from the batterry to the coil . I woud appreciate any feed back especially on the right tourque on the head bolts ,have a great day Don

Torque is 65-70 FT-lbs. As far as the wireing problem you may have a bad switch, a bad resister if it has one, I.E. 12 volt system. Or you may have a broken wire some place
