Gerald,
Sorry it took so long to download the pictures. I guess what you are saying is that I should have figured out some way to make the file smaller in photobucket before I uploaded the link. I'm just learning this picture posting business so I'll try to learn what has to be done to make it faster for guys on dialup. I dialed in on Sunday from home and it never did load all the pictures.

Yes the waterwheel planter is available commercially. Try www.marketfarm.com click on online catalog then click transplanters then waterwheel. Cost about $2000 with planting wheels.

To see a short video of it working go here>Link

Yes>Link the wife has been a keeper for 33+ years and unless she sees that post she'll prbably let me keep her another 33.

Phil

I use GIMP in Linux for shrinking and cropping photos. I used to use photo software that came with my scanner when I ran windoze.

640 x 480 is a workable size, and when storing jpegs you can affect the file size by allowing more loss in the jpeg compression.

I checked the pictures as they slowly arrived and found the HTML of the list displayed them as 636 by 456 or something like that. And that distorted the vertical (portrait) mode picture of seed planting.

I kept the web page and pictures for future reference, and they worked out to 1600+ wide, took over 6 hours that connect which I complicated by downloading VA and medicare documents.

She would say thanks if I let her know I had posted that picture but I want to keep her for another 33 years. I was 26, she was 21 when we got married in 1973. You can do the math. Believe me after working all summer on this farm we both feel a lot older than 33.
