Very inexpensive horsepower! Gas tractors usually sell for about $2000 and turbo diesel ones for around $3500. I think a lot of hobby farmers think the D-19 is too big for them, and it`s not big enough for row crop farmers any more. Watch the transmission, if she jumps out of gear that can be an expensive fix. Otherwise great tractor.

The D-19 is a pretty good tractor the only problem i have with it is the way it sits. The operators seat sits way up and if your noot a very big guy (like me) it is inconvient to push the clutch and the brake pedals. The whole D_ series was like this not real bad I guess just one of them things that bother me.

Good, under rated tractors that are cheap for the horse power they have. Biggest thing to watch out for is if it jumps out of any gears. I have the one that my dad bought used back in 1965 and would gladly buy another one.
