When I lower the implement the lever does not stay down. Do I just need to increse the friction or is it an internal problem? Our club is featuring Massy & Ferguson for 2007 and I gotta get this tractor ready to plow!

I had the same problem because my cork friction disk was plumb wore out. I replaced it and adjusted the tension via the nut that holds the lever on and it stays where I put it now. If your friction disk is OK, then you can just tighten the nut down but if it's not, you'll have to make one (use some 3/16" cork gasket material) or buy one. Walt's Tractors sells 'em for a buck a piece last time I looked.

PS Glad to hear you doin' fine and back at this old tractor business.
