Hi All,

Got 'er all done for this year.

I'll spend today going around checking fences, opening and closing all the gates as necessary and mending fences as needed.

Parked all the toys and am turning it over to the cows; they can have the run of the place for the remainder of this season.

Then, we'll do it all over again next year. :>)

Allan, sure looks good sitting there in work clothes. Looks like you're going to have time to fix that air conditioner also. Should be all ready to go come spring ,HUH.

By the way never did hear if you found that durn elusive flasher.:>(

No Sir,

No flasher and no power relays. I kinda think that someone has reworked this old devil.

There is a huge master shut-off switch under the right cowl. Betcha someone was having trouble and just eleminated the dudes.

So, this winter sometime, I'll redo that part of the wiring. Can't stand it when things aren't "factory". :>)

Was a little disappointed in the 1066 when I finished my plowing yesterday afternoon.

Gotta get more weight on both the front end and fluid in the rears. The plow is pushin' it around a little. Also, I gotta learn how to run that CAT III hitch. The draft control has a completely different "feel" than the CAT II system.

Right now, it won't even compare with the 966. But, we'll get 'er, given enough time. :>)

We seemed to always wean on Holloween. Ours was the first farm out of town and the cows and calves wailing really added to trick or treating when I was young. I'm sure it scared the heck out of a lot of kids.

Yeah,

Time to start playin' cowboy 'round here.

So help me, if that big expensive gelding throws me in the dirt one more time, he's going down the road. Mrs. or no Mrs. :>)

Instead of the horse, think you can rope one from the platform of the Hydro? Don't think the tractor would be as prone to buckin' you off...

Nice to hear you guys enjoy your horses like I do. I weaned mine a month ago and the neighbors a half mile away could hear the cows ballering. Just got cattle last year so nobody around hear was used to hearing that, they came down here to make sure I did not have any cattle out.

That sounds like Baxter Black. I love that guy. He had a real tear jerker yesterday about our soldiers and life on the farm. Harley
