Any of you guys scrambling to get your plows and blowers mounted this morning? 2’ is kinda rare for October, even in Buffalo.
Just thought you would like to know it’s a beautiful sunny fall day just a little bit east of you! Enjoy!
Tim

Been sunny and cool with no precip and I'm just hour SW of Buffalo. Was kinda weird seeing all the plow trucks go by and all the tractor trailers backing up on to route 60 cause they couldn't go east on I-90

Tim. Here in the Fingerlakes area , 90 miles east of Buffalo it has been chilly but sunny all day. Talked with some folks this morning from the Bergen area & they had some snow. Big problem is loss of power.

15 inches of wet heavy snow on Grand Island, just north of Buffalo. some places got almost 30 inches, but the real problem is not the snow, but the fallen trees and limbs. Leaves were still on the trees. We were with out power for about 6 hours and we are the lucky ones, some may be without for a week! Dave

It's sunny but cold just west of Rochester. Received only 1" or so here overnight.

But a daughter who resides in a Buffalo suburb reported 10" of wet snow on the ground this morning. Power is out across the area from trees bringing down wires. She's been told to expect 5 - 7 days before power restored to her neighborhood.

And winter is still 2 MONTHS away(!)
