Need John Deere 9500 combine advice

I know this is a forum for older tractors and equipment but I have got good advice from everybody in the past so I thought I would post this. I help my uncle on his farm and he has a John Deere 9500 combine. This week we were running soybeans and the combine is really bogging down. It struggles to combine a full swath or go up an incline. It seems to have lost quite a bit of power. We changed the fuel filters and that really did not make any difference. Has anybody experienced this or have any suggestions on how to resolve this issue. Thanks for your advice.

Check the screen going onto the sediment bowl if it has one. Had that get plugged on a 7700 once.

I should have thought of the same thing as you mention. My '78 and '81 Gleaners have fuel restriction lights in the cab as well, plus sediment bulb filters and an internal fuel tank filter. Don't know if newer JDs have that. ok, I'm ribbing the verde guys a bit! They may very well have those features in later machines. Best to check the op manual for possible causes. Too many people simply don't read them.

Replace or cleaned the engine air filters? Should be pre-harvest SOP, might need to be redone in dusty beans. Does the JD have an in-cab indicator light for 'air restriction' like the Gleaners do? If not, there should be a mechanical indicator on or near the filter cannistor.
