Yeah--they'll ask for your bank account number, your home phone number, your home address, and send you a cashier's check to cover expenses on your end. They will instruct you to cash the check, use whatever you need for expenses on your end, and then send them the balance! It takes up to 30 days for the cashier's check to clear your bank, at which point you will be told the check is "not negotiable"!And, you will be responsible for cashing a no good check, and for the complete amount of the check--the balance you sent to the sender of the check!! And, of course--there's no contest, winning check or amount on their end, and no way to stop them from swindling anybody else! But, even with the education everybody gets here in the good old USA, there are some dim-witted folks who still think the moon is made from green cheese, and they fall for any trick in the book--then wail when they realise they've been had! I advertised a Frazer tiller in this venue, and promptly got a letter from some deviate, asking me to crate it up, ship it to England, and he'd send a money order for it! HAWW! It didn't get shipped! I realise from the tone of your letter that you didn't fall for the scam, but it just tells it like it is! Rustyj
