I agree with Allen the other day ago. Is it just the media salavating over more newsy items or is it really this bad again. Why does everyone want a Nuke? What do these people WANT? This plantet is only so big, we cant add on. If its money we sure as He$$ aint got it. As far as land goes the suburbs are taking that. I knew a old farm gent that told me a word of wisdom that i still remember today. He said" If you can ever solve the link between money and people, you WILL have world peace". DTURKE

There is one other thing to factor in to these developments. I think the fact that the US has not been messing around with these guys any more. I.E. Afganastan and Iraq. Has scraed the heck out of the dictators who do not want to get with the program. They feel the only way they can stay in power and compete with the will of the US is to have Nukes.

Not a bad play on thier part if you think about it.
Unfortunately for us I dont think any resulution will come of it. All they really have to do is hold out until the Dems get some power and it will be the way it was before again.
Lets talk, lets talk, lets talk. But do nothing.

Just my opinion of course.

I think we oughta be concerned with Iran and nuclear weapons. Iran is supplying Hazballa with weapons and they kill Americans. The president of Iran has publicly stated that they should blow Isreal off the face of the earth and they will use that technology if they have it.

There are too many wimps in the US government today. If the North Koreans want nukes give em one, launched from a US submarine under the ocean. Detonated over North Korea. Nuff said.

Remember, the North Korean's siezed the USS Pueblo in international waters in 1968 and Lyndon Johnson did nothing. The crew was held prisoner for 11 months. One was killed. The Pueblo is still in North Korea, sitting in Pyongyang as a tourist attraction.

They also shot down a navy EC 121 in april of 69 and Nixon didnt do anything about that either. About 30 men were killed.

We really never quit fighting them. The only way you win a war is when one side unconditionally surrenders. That never happened in Korea. WW2 is the last war on earth that one side unconditionally surrendered.

Are you sure that he's the only leader around these days that fits your definition?

Yes,

I finally got that old rusted door hinge pulled apart this morning. Set the bottom up in the tractor thinking that maybe I could just bolt it up permanent and step over the thing.

However, after looking at it, I feel it would be better if I built a thick, flexable bottom half out of some heavy material I have. Would just make it easier to get in and out of that cab.

Still waiting on the local implement dealer. They are trying to find me the proper valve bank that will allow for two single acting and one double acting valves.

Right now I've got the grapple hooked into the tractor's hydraulic system. Just too darned slow! Gotta stay with the original PTO pump. :>)

Guess we found the WMD's. in reply to Stinky Cheese, 10-10-2006 08:23:41
We do like it here. Very much so. And we have no intention of allowing our spread to degrade into a terror fueled, paranoia led panic. Mainly, we are not terribly happy with the gardener. He seems to be stuck in the beans while the rest of the spread is left wanting.

Guess we found the WMD's. Good thing they have that new Taipo Dong missile to deliver it.

Before you trash the Dems, travel the world and see what happens when business interests run the government. What if no one defended your childrens Civil Rights? Your wife's? We are men and can take care of ourselves, but it is our duty to protect those that are unable to do so. That is our job, mine and yours.

The way I understand it is we fought the Chinese. Korea was just the battle ground for a police action.

My dad froze his *&^ off over there in '50 and '51. He always warned us boys that we'd end up having to back and finish it. Looks more like his grandsons are going to end up doing it instead. As he put it, who the h3ll fights war to tie?

Thanks a lot Harry.
