I placed an order on this website on Wednesday around 2 pm. I got home late this morning, Friday, and the order had already been delivered. What is this, 45 hour shipping? How is that possible? It wasn't a small order, either. I am aware that the parts shipped out of Tennessee or thereabouts, but still, that's impressive. On a side note, parts were well packaged and the quality is better than I expected.

I live at the "tip of the Mitt"in Michigan and I once had parts I had ordered from the Iowa/Nebraska border area arrive on my doorstep in LESS than 24 hrs! Still amazes me...

In reality, once a carrier accepts a shipment, that carrier is storing that merchandise until it is delivered. The storage may be in a vehicle that is moving, which is ideal. Perhaps UPS was one of the first to realize this. Takes exactly the same number of miles to transport a package whether the carrier has it for two days or two weeks. Keeping it for two weeks costs the carrier more and annoys the customer.

As a seller, I have been hearing from buyers that orders are getting to them in record time. I do all my mailing right from the post office.

They have wharehouses all around the country. I was disappointed with my part, it had made in china stamped on the box.

My former employer solved that problem by having someone remove the Made in China or Tiawan stickers when certain customers requested the stickers be removed.

So should the "Made In China" not be stamped on the box? If it's made there then it's made there and they tell you that. Tell me something that you've bought lately that isn't made offshore, including most of the parts on your domestic-built truck or other items.
