Hey guys,
I"m still trying to find the serial/model number on my Massey. I know it"s a mid 70"s tractor if that helps. Right now it has a backhoe and front bucket attachment on it. Any idea where to look? It"s hard to buy parts or manuals on it when I"m not sure what it is. Thanks for any help.

Probably once was a tag on the dash someplace? Any holes in dash and signs of missing tag? Numbers on engine and axles but those are just numbers for those assemblies.

I can"t see any obvious place where it was but the tractor has been painted at one time which may make it hard to see. Is that the only place it was? The tractor actually has a backhoe and frontend loader on it. Those both have tags with serial numbers and model numbers but I"m sure that"s just for those items.

Most all later Fergueson and MF had serial number tags mounted to dash or lower left dash under instrument panel. Some of the later larger ones had it on left side of transmission usually so might look around on trans someplace or rear end for numbers too if no evidence of a tag around dash area. Engines usually had their own model # and ser. # stamped into block someplace. Yes, loader and backhoe would have seperate tags for their model and ser. # too. You might look on tractor photos section and search and look on the online selling market places for industrial equipment to help ID the model.
