I was in the bathroom getting ready to take a shower. I here my wife freaking out yelling something about a snake. I thought one of the dogs got bit. I came out in the kitchen and there it was on the kitchen floor. Not a big snake but it was a snake. It was a gopher snake. I grabbed the thing and proceded to get bit. I took the snake outside and let him go. I don't know how he got by the dogs, but he did. Stan

No snakes, but now that the kids are gone, we leave the window open in one bedroom (in the summer) so the cat can come and go as he pleases. I was indulging my insomnia at about 2 AM the other morning, and noticed a bat flying around inside the house. Figured there wasn't much I could do til morning, when I assumed it would hole up somewhere and I could find it. Apparently it found its way out, thankfully. The perils of country living.

We had a little one a couple of weeks ago, in our kitchen. The wife took care of it. I ran about a 15 incher out of my shop two days ago.

I haven't seen a snake in a couple of years now. But you can send that thing my way, with all the rain we have been getting here D*#%* mice are getting to be a real problem in the house. Wife may not like the snake, I don't know, but I know she don't like the mice.

If it broke the skin when it bit you treat it with something or it will get infected. You know no matter what snake you should always grab it just behind the head. Yep I have BTDT and have even picked up more then one snake that would send you the the hospital but I do it right or not at all
