Does anyone know of the company that makes & sales a 3 point hitch which offsets a statndard 3 point hitch 5 foot or 6 foot bush hog. The hitch shifts the bush hog over approx 1 to 2 feet over to the right (standing behind the tractor). Will the standard PTO shaft still work with this hitch?? I have seen some pictures of one but never seen a name or seen one for sale. Thanks

Thanks for the all the replies, I know there are a few manufacures out there that make an offset bushhog. The bracket/hitch I am tring to discribe bolts/welds/connects to the the existing piece of equipment in the location your 2 lift arms and centerlink connect to, it has new connections for the arms & centerlink shifted over to one side (left if you are looking from the rear). I found a pic on the net bolted to an Alamo 6ft bus hog, but there is no manufacture listed. Thanks for all of your help.

www.alamo-industrial.com
They offer an off set hitch set up. No pix or real specs on the site jus sez 13" offset for 60" cutter 13" or 16" for 72" cutter.
I'd guess "see yore dealer for details".

Hardee Mfg. in SC use to make a rotary cutter with the offset hitch, don't know if they still do or not. I have 6 ft. hardee cutter with the off set hitch, kinda old but still works good. It's for sale if you want it.

Never heard of just the hitch without the cutter.

The city here (Lanett,Al.) has a Alamo cutter that is adjustable off set from straight on to about 6 foot over. It has a hydraulic motor on it. Don't know if this helps much, but if you cut grass with it and it fits on a tractor, Alamo prolly made one.

I've seen those before too but forget who made them. You can make your own if handy with welder or if you go with a quick hitch just weld some shafts on shredder hitch with collars and then you can easily unhook and offset to left or right. Here is a link to many more that might help?
