Just read in my hometown newspaper from eastern colarado that a young 26 year old father driving a dodge 350 truck with his two young children strapped in their car seats. He collided with a semi truck hauling grain at one of those famous intersections where the corn is tall and the roads are in square miles. He was killed when he was thrown out and the load of grain from the semi landed on him. When it was all over his truck was still right side up and the kids still strapped in. Semi driver was injured but not seriously though he was trapped in the cab.

Both my brother and I have been involved in single vehicle rollovers - no seatbelts. We were lucky enough to live, him with bruises, me with bruising and a broken ankle.

WEAR YOUR SEATBELT!!! The life you save may be your own.

I drove the ambulance as a volenteer for a couple of years. Nothing like being to accident sites and notice who is hurt bad or killed and who walks away to make a believer in seat belts. Never go on the hiway without it on, law or no law.
