I recently purchased a 1965 Case 530 c backhoe loader. I have alot of questions on it, But mainly wondering the weight of it for transport, and the value of it.I think I got a good deal, although it does have a couple problems. luckily I got the parts manuals with it.it runs and digs though no brakes.Would appreiciate any input. SCott

9,000 lbs if it's diesel. Brakes, just loosen up the adjustment, then take the side covers of the brake. If there is a bunch of goop in there you need to replace the seals.Sometimes you can degrease them clean them real well with brake clean and that might help if the seals are not leaking to badly (for awhile).Adjust them back up when your done.

Thanks for the reply. My tractor is gas, so I assume its slightly lighter. Thanks for the input. I will check for contaminated brake shoes/pads. Thanks again!
If you have any other in put, it would be greatly appreciated.
