I have a 1951 Farmall, model H, I'm trying to find brake seals. I can't see a seal number on the outside. I don't want to take the seal out in case I cannot locate them. If anyone knows the number of the seal and where I can purchase the two of them. Thanks for your help!

CaseIH will have them, but do take some measurements since the two H's I've worked on had two different sized seals, meaning each tractor was different. And what you'll find with original seals are that they are twice as wide as the new ones and don't worry about that, unless the brake wheel is worn and you could double them up. One tractor was an odd size seal and only available from CaseIH. chris

Your local Case/IH dealer will have, or can order, the seals.

My parts book shows both disc and band brakes for serial numbers 501-391357.

For the band, I see "Brake drum with oil seal" (8822DBX).

For the disc, I see "sealing washer" (358722R1)

Having never been inside of brakes on a H, This doesn't seem like much. I know there is more to it on a Super C with disc.

Maybe someone else will hane better info.
